Consumers clamoring for an Indian version of Chipotle might finally have their answer in Curry Up Now. A venture-capital investment in 2020 launched the fast casual into growth mode, and it has since doubled in size to 18 units across the country. It has found strong demand for its large menu of Indian street food, which includes mashups like tikka masala burritos alongside more traditional fare like spinach paneer. Sales rose 36% last year, outpacing unit growth by 16 percentage points.
