Wingstop invites fans to take a bath in ranch dip

Do fans of ranch love it so much they really want to bathe in it?

Wingstop thinks so, after seeing Tweets expressing that wish on social media. Short of filling up a tub with ranch dip, the 1,700-plus unit chain teamed up with Buff City Soap to fulfill that wish.

Buff City created Bathe in Ranch Soaps scented with notes of buttermilk, parsley and dill and a creamy texture that mimics the ranch dip served at Wingstop. The bars of soap are even dotted with specks of “seasoning” and adorned with veggie dippers.

Starting at 10 a.m. Central Time on National Ranch Day on Friday, fans can visit BatheInRanch.com to claim a bar of the limited-edition soap. Latecomers will have to settle for their own bubble bath, as only the first 100 to click through will get the soap.

But there is a consolation prize. The chain is also giving away free regular-size cups of ranch dip with the code “FREERANCH” when ordering on Wingstop.com or the app.

Brunch on bottomless ice cream

Forget bottomless bloody Mary’s and mimosas. On Tuesday, ice cream lovers were able to score unlimited scoops of Baskin-Robbins’ March Flavor of the Month—Chick’n & Waffles—at one New York City location. The Bottomless Brunch was open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and everyone from babysitters with toddlers in strollers to office workers, medical staff from nearby hospitals and school kids lined up inside the pink velvet ropes for the freebies.

Unlike the brunch staple, the Baskin-Robbins flavor doesn’t include fried chicken. Instead, it features buttermilk waffle-flavored ice cream with crispy bits drizzled in bourbon maple syrup and swirled. For those who wanted a heightened brunch experience, alcohol-free mimosas were also on hand.

Swag and swigs for Chili’s birthday

Chili’s is celebrating its 48th birthday and the first anniversary of its online store. To mark the occasion, the chain is inviting guests to party like its 1975 with an expanded line of clothing and accessories rooted in nostalgia.

New at Chili’s online merch store (www.welcometochilis.com) are baby onesies adorned with a chili pepper, pepper-inspired Claw Clips to keep flyaway hair out of the sizzling fajitas, coasters modeled on the restaurants’ original tiled tables, and an assortment of vintage-looking T-shirts and colorful scarves.

For guests who prefer to swig a cocktail over purchasing swag, Chili’s is offering special birthday pricing at the bar. The brand’s signature Presidente Margarita is just $3.13 on 3/13 instead of the usual $9.

Trading up from happy meals

Power Rangers, My Little Pony and other iconic happy meal toys are so last century. Young customers who order one of the kid-friendly meals from virtual concept LankyBox Kitchen get a pack of three collectible trading cards with their food.

The 20 unique cards feature Lankybox characters in eye-catching visuals. They range in value from common to rare to super rare.

LankyBox Kitchen is a virtual brand from Chuck E. Cheese, inspired by vloggers Justin Kroma and Adam McArther and their animated universe. The menu includes comfort food classics like deep-dish mac ‘n cheese, personal pan pizzas, twice-baked wings and whimsical desserts, such as churros dusted with cotton candy and blue raspberry sugar.
