First Watch names Matt Eisenacher chief brand officer

First Watch Restaurant Group has promoted Matt Eisenacher, a four-year veteran of the concept, to chief brand officer.

He was previously SVP of brand strategy and innovation for the chain, the largest to date in the rapidly growing daytime dining segment. First Watch serves only breakfast, lunch and brunch and usually closes mid-afternoon.

“For the past four years, Matt has proven to be an invaluable part of this team,” First Watch CEO Chris Tomasso said in a statement. “His leadership and marketing expertise have helped us significantly deepen awareness of the First Watch brand across generations while also raising the bar on how First Watch shows up in the lives of our customers.”

Before joining First Watch in 2019, Eisenacher was chief operations officer for Piada Italian Street Food.

First Watch currently has 490 restaurants in 29 states.
